Flore Costumé (they/li) is a queer, Haitian artist and facilitator. Their studio, mfèlakmenm, honors the wisdom of their hands as invitation to collaborate with and integrate their multiple ways of knowing, culture(s), and ancestors through crafts of weaving, textile dyeing, and pigment/ink making. They are an artist in resident of The School for Inclement Weather and co-tending a black prayer farm, called botánika on Kasia Pomo ancestral territory. They have a background as an ecologist and a certified mindfulness instructor with Inward Bound Mindfulness.
