Losing Our Minds to Get Back to the Senses: Memory, mindfulness, and Maracujá
Kinshasa (she/her) is a Queer, African-American listener, healer, learner. 15 years of experience as a psychologist by day. 46 years as a student of life in all times. Currently integrating sitting, dancing, praying, and vocal meditation practices. Exploring sacred reciprocity in relations with all beings. Incorporating ritual, indigeneity, and authenticity into spiritual life. Kinshasa teaches meditation at East Bay Meditation Center and is exploring the intersections of Buddhism, ancestral knowledge, and plant medicine. You may find me watching women’s sports, exploring the community by foot, or dancing in my living room.
